Ministries

Youth Ministry

Our desire is to see Baton Rouge students CONNECT with other Christian teens in their community, GROW in their faith in Jesus Christ, SERVE those around them, and GO out into their schools/neighborhoods sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We seek to Connect, Grow, Serve, and Go with your teens through:

Sunday Morning Bible Study

Join us at 9:30 a.m. in the Brick Building as we engage in Bible study, fellowhsip, and prayer. This hour is designed to disciple the students in smaller groups through topical discussion and Bible Study. We also strive to see how we can better pray for the students thorughout the week.

Sunday Evening Youth Group

Join us on Sunday evenings in the gym 4 to 6 p.m. This time is specifically organized to engage each student, regardless of their interests, abilities, or personality type. Each week we gather for a mixture of athletic, mental, and goofy games. Then we come together to hear a message from our student minister, Juri Thompson. Finally we split into our #RealTalk group discussions.

Fellowship and Events

We offer two types of events throughout the year:

Grow:

  • An example of these events are Retreats, DiscipleNow Weekends, the Youth Evangelism Conferences, Women's Teas, Father-Son Campouts, and Summer Camps.
  • Serve:

  • Througout the year we engage in service opportunities with the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, shelters, local apartments, and homeless missions.
